Vans Vault kicks it up a notch and collaborates with Knoll to produce the Mountain Edition LX “Knoll”. They kept it tonal, only with a bright red Vans Vault logo tag on the tongue standing out. The sneaker will drop in overall 3 colorways.

Vans is offering gum sole versions of their hi top Mountain Edition and popular low cut Old Skool. Available in two different colors – Navy and Black – the shoes are featured in suede with contrast stitching and details.

These new Classic Mountain Editions with Gum soles are done up in black and blue suede with white contrast stitching with a leather lining. The gum sole really makes a striking impression when you see it. The contrast really seems to place them in a different context. Set for a summer release date.

Vans Vault and Knoll team up on the Mountain Edition Hi seen here. This is the first colorway to hit stores and the sneaker features a tonal upper made up of a thick material, a contrast logo panel, white midsoles with black piping. They are now available through select Vans Vault stockists.

Coming from their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection, Japanese brand White Mountaineering got together with Vans to collaborate on the Mountain Edition mid top sneaker. The sneaker comes in two colorways – navy/red and lime green/grey. Both come with upper made of cotton check patterns and premium suede. The outer sole is translucent with the check pattern continuing under it. The White Mountaineering logo appears on the tongue tag and the inner sole.

Vans Snow
gives us glimpse into their forthcoming AWT collection. Reworking the Chukka Low, Mountain Edition and Switchback silhouettes, Vans “redesigned and reinforced the shoes to operate in wet, rugged conditions.” Each sneaker is packed with weather-resistant features including 3M Scotchguard® infused premium leather, suede and textile uppers, fully gusseted tongue, thick water repellant laces, and inverted waffle sole for superior traction. Unfortunately these don’t drop until 2011. They’d sure be handy right now.
