For Spring 2011 Vans California has two new versions of the popular Switchback boot. Presented with nubuck uppers and tumbled leather heel accents, Vans California impresses once again with simple colors and premium materials

From the Vans California Holiday 2010 Collection we preview the Switchback CA. The mid top sneaker comes in two subtle colorways, both featuring clean two-tone canvas uppers, premium laces and white outer soles. Look out for these to release soon.

Vans Snow gives us glimpse into their forthcoming AWT collection. Reworking the Chukka Low, Mountain Edition and Switchback silhouettes, Vans “redesigned and reinforced the shoes to operate in wet, rugged conditions.” Each sneaker is packed with weather-resistant features including 3M Scotchguard® infused premium leather, suede and textile uppers, fully gusseted tongue, thick water repellant laces, and inverted waffle sole for superior traction. Unfortunately these don’t drop until 2011. They’d sure be handy right now.
